Christopher Ward

While studying for his Law Degree, Chris worked for local government in both the Council Tax and Legal Departments. Chris also acquired extensive experience of Council Tax Law having worked as an Advocate and Representative on behalf of various Legal Charities.

Before joining Summit Law LLP, Chris embarked on a career at the London Office of the Insolvency Service in Central London, where he worked closely with the Official Receiver and Assistant Official Receivers.

Chris has the benefit of a thorough working knowledge of the day to day systems and procedures used by The Insolvency Service and he has built up a good working relationship with The Official Receiver.

Chris' experience includes interviewing bankrupts and company directors, carrying out investigations into their affairs, drafting pleadings and bringing prosecution claims against both bankrupts and company directors on behalf of the Secretary of State.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys a number of activities and is an ardent and loyal West Ham United fan.
