Mark Hodges

Mark works alongside Jeremy Boyle and helps manage the firm's debt collection department. Mark has particular expertise in working with Local Authorities but we also act for Debt Purchasers, Insurance Companies and Private Limited Companies.

Mark started his career in local government with the London Borough of Southwark in 1982.

During 17 years with Southwark Council, Mark was involved in the billing, administration and collection of General Rates and latterly, National Non-Domestic Rates and Council Tax.

Mark also helped the Council to achieve the ISO 9002 Quality Assurance accreditation and acted as Quality Manager for the Revenues & Benefits Department before resuming a managerial role with the Council Tax Enforcement Team. He is a qualified Quality Assurance Auditor.

In 1999, Mark set up his own professional consultancy, providing specialist assistance in local government revenue collection. He worked with several London Boroughs and helped to set up in-house insolvency departments at the London Boroughs of Hackney and Waltham Forest.

Prior to his 'retirement' due to old age, Mark was a dedicated footballer but now tends to pursue more relaxing hobbies such as reading, socializing and playing the occasional round of golf.

By his own admission, he is also an extremely poor guitarist!!
