Caroline Marshall, Finance and Practice Director
Caroline deals with all the day-to-day accounts for the fee-earners at Summit and Welbeck. “It’s a good mix and I really enjoy being in the centre of everything,” she says.
She moved back to London in 2016 after working at a solicitors’ firm in Cornwall. She has also been a legal secretary in London firms and for a chartered surveyor, and ran the purchase ledger at a retail firm.
She has so far accomplished seven years of AAT training. “Two more exams and I will finish AAT level 4,” she says.
Outside work, she “runs around” after her teenage children and enjoys amateur dramatics.
Caroline used to sail and ride horses (not at the same time). Age 12, she and her 12-foot dinghy came second in the graduate nationals sailing competition around Hayling Island. She also modelled a homemade pattern for waterproofs in the Boat Show edition of Yachts and Yachting magazine.
