Dipti Hunter

Dipti is a highly experienced commercial disputes specialist. Her cases often include complex, high-value disputes, frequently involving allegations of fraud that are being advanced or defended. She advises corporates, financial institutions, professional services firms, private clients and high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of contentious issues, including shareholder disputes, banking litigation, professional negligence, fraud, regulatory investigations, insolvency-related claims and contentious trusts matters.

Her practice has a strong international focus, with experience in enforcement proceedings in offshore jurisdictions, the GCC, Africa, the USA and Central Asia. Dipti regularly acts on multi-jurisdictional disputes as well as arbitrations involving private equity investments, mining and commodities, cross-border transactions and financial restructuring matters.

Dipti has significant expertise in interim applications and asset recovery work, including freezing injunctions, search orders, asset tracing and urgent interim relief applications.

Dipti is regularly invited to speak on legal issues affecting clients involved in cross-border litigation and asset recovery challenges.

Dipti is the former Vice-Chair of the Commercial Litigation Association and has been a member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association Committee. Dipti is also a member of the Commercial Fraud Lawyers Association and the British Kazakh Law Association.

She is a founding member of Project Uplift, a not-for-profit forum that provides support, networking, advocacy and mentoring for LGBTQI+ people and allies working in the legal, investigations and forensic fields.
