Experience

Dan joined Summit Law LLP in March 2020 and qualified as a solicitor in 2001. Dan works in the Insolvency team, which is supervised by Jeremy Boyle.

He has nearly 20 years’ experience working as an insolvency and restructuring lawyer, qualifying and working at Pinsent Masons for 11 years before subsequently moving to Gateley and Locke Lord in London. Prior to joining Summit Law, Dan was working as an in-house lawyer for Barclays Bank in their specialist restructuring and recoveries legal team. 

Dan’s experience covers both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters having acted for banks, insolvency practitioners, companies, directors, pension scheme trustees, individuals and creditors on matters of insolvency, corporate recovery, debt recovery, reorganisation and restructuring.

Dan advises in relation to both corporate and personal insolvency matters.

Something you didn’t know.

Whilst Dan’s swashbuckling days are probably now behind him, he once had a job on a plantation climbing date palms and pruning them with a machete.
